  Had a horrible experience. A stray dog shows up on our door step. Our dog was going crazy trying to get out to it. With the help of a friend who just happen to come by to visit were we able to calm the dog down, get her tags and my friend called Second Chance, unfortunately for us it was 6:00pm and after their hours and their voice mailbox was full so our friend could not leave a message. My wife found the Second Chance website and sent an email detailing what happened. The Police and Animal Control were of no help either. Long story short the dog eventually escaped and was last seen running northbound out of our neighborhood. This morning we receive a call from the Second Chance who wants detailed information on the dog and it's location. When we tell the caller it escaped she wants to know what the tag number of the dog. Tag Number? We were lucky to find a phone number and did not think to get the tag number. The caller admitted that the have an "Emergency Number" but it is not on their website. The caller did not provide us with the Emergency Number or where to find it. By the end of the conversation we felt like we were being blamed because we no longer had the dog, did not know where it was, and failed to get the "tag number". We are completely turned off to Second Chance, I am glad others are happy with them, but if you ever lose you dog make sure it only gets away during Second Chance business hours, otherwise they will be of little help.
